About ME
Hi ... I'm PTG Wildcat. I'm a livery designer and painter in the Forza series of games. Welcome to my world ...
My journey in Forza has been a fun and interesting one. I have been a 'car guy' and a fan of racing for as long as I can remember. And a fan of racing games for just as long ... all the way back to the early days with Pole Position and Out Run. I've been along for the ride all the way as other games and series like Need for Speed and Forza entered the scene.
I've always had a creative and artistic side as well ... so when I came across even the early versions of the Forza paint booth, I was hooked. I could now combine two of my passions ... cars and creative design ... into one hobby. I was truly amazed at the things I saw others create, and I knew I wanted in on the fun.
The more I practiced and painted, the better I got. I can't even begin to count all the thousands of hours I've put into the Forza paint scene over the years. And as the social scene around the painting community began to grow and develop, I became a dedicated member there as well. I loved the camaraderie and friendships I found there ... as well as the willingness to share techniques and tips with others. We were all enjoying the same thing ... and it felt good to be part of that.
I continued to work and improve ... learning more and mastering the skills needed to really be able to create designs I was proud of. It seems that others in the games enjoyed and appreciated my work as well ... my download counts began to rise ... over a million ... over 10 million. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support I've had within the Forza community over the years.
There were a couple of big moments along the way too ... highlights of my Forza career. Around 2015, I came across some of the guys in PTG (Pendulum Tuning Garage). It was a great group of guys ... a small team becoming more prominent in the Forza world ... and I loved the feel and the atmosphere any time we were together. After some time, I was given an invitation to join the team and have been there ever since. I've developed some great friendships there and have even met some of the guys in real life.
The other big moment in my Forza time was winning a worldwide contest and having my design put on a real life race car. And it won! Barwell Motorsport had a contest in 2018 leading up to the 24 Hours of Spa. People from all over the world entered ... and my design, created in Forza, was chosen as the winner. The Barwell car ... a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 ... went on to win its class at Spa ... complete with my design on it. I am still to this day surprised at having won the contest but also very proud of the moment.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work. I hope you enjoy it and appreciate the effort that goes into these designs.
See you in the games!
